Tsunami Footie

Recently, there are plans mooted out to organise a match between the teams led by Ronaldinho v. Schevenko's team. If I had a choice, I would choose a line up of my own preferably against an All Star Asean Team, since they are doing this match for the benefit for this region.

My team would look something like this:

Manager: Arsene Wenger.
He may not be the most tactically astute compared to the cocky Mourinho or the serious Capello, but he will build a team to play beautiful soccer!

GK: Gianluigi Buffon. (Juventus & Italy)
The safest pair of hands money can buy.Seemingly out of this world when on song!

RB: Paolo Ferreira (Chelsea & Portugal)
A roving rightback which is part of Jose's revolution at Chelsea.

CB: Rio Ferdinand (Manchester Utd. & England)
His return from suspension has coincided with his club's recent good form. A towering figure at the back.

CB: Paolo Cannavaro (Juventus & Italy)
A good man marker who's probably the reason Juve will win the scudetto this year!

LB: Ashley Cole (Arsenal & England)
A whippet who once let loose will wreck havoc on the opponents defence! A real speed master on the prowl.

LMD: Arjen Robben (Chelsea & Holland)
Truckloads of trickery and nerves of steel in front of goal. Who says there's no more hope for Holland?

CM: Patrick Viera (Arsenal & France)
A solid figure in the middle of the park. A leader in the Gunners team who scraps for every ball and never gives up!

AMD/FWD: Ronaldinho (Barcelona & Brazil)
The smiling Brazilian who single handedly transformed Barca into championship contenders with his creativity n goals.

RMD: Ludovic Giuly (Barcelona & France)
The Gallic flair on the right of Barca's potent attack will strike fear into any defence.

CF: Thierry Henry (Arsenal & France)
The speed of a hare when he is harassing the opponent's defence. HE can score from any known position although he has problems with taking corners!

CF: Andriy Schevchenko (AC Milan & Ukraine)
The most deadly striker in modern football.Pity he is a Ukrainian.

Referee: Pierluigi Collina (Italy)
The bald eagle is perhaps the best there is!

Who I don't want to see in black n white strips , unless it's a jail uniform, is definitely Mike Riley!! He is an absolute sham.
