Mr Cassanova?

I remember having a chat with Justine not too long ago. The reason that particular conversation has remained etched in my mind probably stems from a comment which she had so openly shared with me.
"What would Mr. Cassanova wanna do with A girfriend?" Do I really deserve such a reputation? I remember the chat perfectly well with expletives such as a "flirt, playboy & cassanova" associated with myself. So, being trained in the supposedly critical environment of a law classroom, I suppose it's only apt that critically analise the evidence put forward.
Am I really guilty as charged?
Besides Justine, others like Jenny & Vanessa has also supported the notion that I'm indeed guilty as charged.
The former had alleged that no female would in her right frame of mind have any sense of security in a long term relationship in a flirt like myself while the latter had contended that I have too many gal friends (but in the different sense to the more known special gal friend) for my own good. Perhaps, that's the reason that I'm dragged out of my comfort zone and my hooves given such a brand!
More recently, another long lost friend (Ai Ling) juz came short of alleging the same crime purported by me, although she duly restrained herself and only came out with a frank assessment that I have always had rumours of a guy with many gal friends who cannot possibly leave his reins in a single female.
Even my lecturer had yesterday shocked myself, albeit presumably not the class, by asking me a very surprising Ques.
"Why are you still looking for a gf when you already have 1?1 not enough arrr?" (GROAN)
When I jumped to my defence by telling her that I'm still single, she let out a disbelieving laugh. Sigh....
"Boy, I did not know that you're such a flirt!" Sigh....oh...boy.....tis is going to be a very long story!
In criminal law, you have to prove the actus reus (the wrong doing) and the mens rea (the state of mind of the accused when doing the crime) before a person is judged guilty.
Presumably, my actions when scrutinised in a court of law would satisfy the trial judge that I had the necessary actus reus!
However, do I have the mens rea? This depends on what's the standard applied to the "crime of flirting". Is an objective/ subjective test necessary?
Well, I guess I would fail if it's an objective test since every1 seems convinced that I'm wrong and I have committed the crime. But, if you had the conscience to ask before passing judgment, I think a more fairer evalution would have been reached.
I do not deny that I'm more friendly and open to gals then my other peers..but I'm certainly no John Travolta (Grease).Accordingly, I have to say if I was living in a more open society I would probably be more acceptable.
Judge me if you must, but, remember that you're judged in the same way that you judge others.
Thank You.
Mr Cassanova signing out!
