With a broken wing

I wept and sobbed,
What does a man do when the wind beneath his wings fail to blow?
He plunges, of course, to the deep abyss,
Of sadness and despair he remains,
Where can there be hope, when there is no faith?
Spiraling down the dark chasms of no return,
Falling deeper into the dark tunnel of no light,
Slowly and slowly, doubt prevails,
Where once hope flourished,
Now only a glimmer of nourish,
To feed the hungry soul,
Deprived of hope, faith and the future,
Can the majestic falcon take flight with a broken wing?
Slowly it creeps to the ledge of the canyon,
It fears not death but the ignominy of life!
He spreads his wings and flaps with all his might,
And yet, he falls with the contentment in his eyes that the end is nigh.

It is the WINGS that uses the strength of the wind to enable the falcon to fly.

It is the dynamic, intrinsic creation of these very WINGS that enable the falcon to fly.

Wind comes and wind goes.

A windless day, will STILL enable the falcon to fly.

That is, IF the falcon choose to put his hope and faith in HIMSELF, in HIS STRENGTH, he will definitely fly.

IF he places his faith in others, HE will never make it. Because he has defeated the purpose of those wings that were made to send him into flight.

Though unable to lessen your pain, my prayers will be that you will recover from this plunge and regain strength, hope and faith. (:
