The Merseyside Song

Don't be too happy Ryan! The game ain't over yet!

An unlikely draw at Old Trafford.

Top goalscorer but only substitute.

Well, the other day, I was at my kitchen when one of my friend's mate started singing. Merseyside supporters will probably do well to stop reading here. The song went like this:

You are a scouser,

A DIRTY scouser,

You're only happy on Giro Day!

Your mum's out dealing! Your Dad's out thieving!

Please don't take my hubcaps away ...Please don't take my hubcaps away

(sung to the tune of "You are my sunshine")

And you'll never get a job!

You'll never get a job!!

(sung to the tune of "You will never walk alone)

Appendix:

1. Humrazz, sad to say, but my prior article's predictions are reinforced by this week's results. (Chelsea won..AGAIN, Man Utd drew, Arsenal lost)

2. Sorry to all Liverpool and Everton fans out there. But the song is quite funny isn't it? Well..perhaps not. :P

3. Good luck to all the guys at Brookes. We can make it!

Yes they did. I do keep in touch wif football a lot as i do put in a punt or 2 (although i will probably stop now). Anyway it is a very encouraging Spurs side this year under Jol. As Chelsea seems unstoppable, Man Utd and Arsenal seems to be faltering. Could be a good year to be a Spurs/ Liverpool fan! Do you think Spurs will get Robben and do you think Liverpool will lose Rafa?
