How ironic...
1. that the Government claims that there isn’t sufficient funds in the coffers to give extra pay to the Police Force when it is deemed that they have enough money to upgrade the sports facilities in London.
2. that the US attacks Iraq to prevent a nuclear war when DPRK just sent a clear warning of its nuclear potency.
3. that the Environmental Minister (while sitting comfortably in his ivory tower in Putrajaya) complains about being frustrated with the haze dilemma when it is HIS job to solve it.
4. that we allow ourselves to delve into racism after so many years of national independence.
5. that France lost to Scotland (0-1) when they had just beaten the World Cup Winners Italy.
6. that a person messaged his grievances to the Star Newspaper threatening to take law into his own hands if nothing is done to the ‘killer’ of the Lau murder fiasco. It is surprising that this said person seems to know who is the killer or at least alleged killer when nothing concrete is yet available in the police investigations. If he doesn’t know who is the perpetrator and yet threatens physical harm shouldn’t that person himself/herself be warranted some extra cautious attention? (If the authorities do read this, don’t you think this person should be put in for certain surveillance. Any John Wayne/Jet Li wannabe should know that his actions have to be in the ambit of the law or we will have complete anarchy) .
7. that every time before a major sports competition we adopt the “Malaysia Boleh” attitude and so confidently declare our overwhelming confidence but after a major competition we get back with our tails between our wobbling feet, deflated, angry and immediately exercising the need to find a scapegoat.
HOW IRONIC INDEED…

How irony that after all the millions pumped into trying to 'save' UM, after all the Think Tanks and Task Forces on how to revive it into a world class university, it fell even further.
haha how true...another ironic thing was...when I was in UKM i wrote a latter asking why I was denied entry into UM. I was told I wasn't good enough...Enough said...LOL
